International Collaboration
International intercomparison of metrological standards
- 1991 - 92, participated intercomparison of iodine cell held at BIPM.
- 1992 - 93, participated APMP (Asia-Pacific Metrology Programme) intercomparison
of gauge blocks, organized by National Measurement Laboratory; Australia.
10 laboratories participated it and good coincidence was obtained among
them.
- At Nov. 1995, we commenced APMP intercomparison of line standard as
the programme coordinator. 11 laboratories participate and we plan to finish
till summer of 1997.
Training
- Lecturer for "Length Standard" in JICA training course for
"Legal Metrology" : 1 day / 1 year for about 20 years
- Training in JICA course of "Metrological Standard" for a
trainee, 3 months in 1992.
Invited scientists
- 1992 - 95FY, we have invited 11 scientists from 8 countries (Australia,
China, Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine and USA) . Total period:
1200 days.

- 11th APMP ( Asia Pacific Metrology Programme ) Committee Meeting (Oct.
Ô95, at Tsukuba) 2 staffs (Seta and Iwasaki) joined to the meeting secretary.

- Since 1991, we have participated about 3 conferences a year.
