Activities for Standards Dissemination :
Gauge blocks and line standards
Until 1993, when the previous metrology low had been enforced, we had been
supplied the length standards by round robin test of gauge blocks (1/ 2
years) and calibration service of line standards ( 2 - 3/ 1 year). Since
1993, we have been supported mainly in technical problems to establish new
traceability system based on the new metrology low and including laboratory
accreditation system.
- 1993 - 94, the traceability system of gauge blocks was commenced.
At 1996, re-assessment of the first accreditated laboratories will be done.
- 1995 - 96, we are working in technical assessment, technical guide,
calibration and so on, to establish the traceability system of line standards.
