The Master Viscometers System, providing the Basic Primary Standards of Viscosity in Japan, measures the accurate Viscosity of the Standard Liquid for Calibrating Viscometers. The Master Viscometers have Longer Dimension than normal Capillary Viscometers and enable Much More Accurate Viscosity Measurement. The System consists of 20 pairs of viscometers corresponding to the Viscosity Range of Liquids. The Anomalous Behavior of One Viscometer is to be detected by Comparison to the Other of the Pair. マスター粘度計は我が国の粘度の標準の出発点とも言えるもので、この粘度計を用いて粘度計校正用標準液の正確な粘度の値を決定します。 マスター粘度計は通常使われる細管粘度計よりも長い構造でより正確な測定ができるようになっています。マスター粘度計は測定する粘度範囲により、２組２０本の粘度計で構成されています。２組の粘度計で測定することにより、万一、一方の粘度計に異常が起きても察知できるようになっています。 |
The "Standard Liquids for Calibrating Viscometers" have 13 varieties in their Viscosities ranging from JS2.5, low viscosity area, to JS160000. Their kinematic viscosities and viscosities are found in the Table below.
